In 2020, to serve you faster and better, we decided to increase our in-house machining capacity by improving efficiencies in our turning and milling. As a result, we added to our existing eight vertical and horizontal turning lathes by purchasing and installing a heavy-duty You Ji 600 ATC+C Vertical Boring Mill. The new machine features an automatic tool changer with 24 tools, a turning diameter of 36 inches and a height of 24 inches – all capable of turning a work-piece of up to 4,000 pounds.
The You Ji 600 is another step in our commitment to better serving you – our customers – by keeping as much machining as possible in the shop. It joins our shop’s existing six CNC (computer numerical control) turning lathes and two manual lathes. This amazing robotic machine enables us to produce parts faster and more efficiently than with slower lathes, with the added benefit of deeper and sharper cuts.
What this means to customers is faster turn-around time with no sacrifice in quality, which results in fewer machining hours per job and ultimately lower-cost repairs. This new machine is one more example of our commitment to minimizing our customers’ downtime by getting their plants up and running as fast and efficiently as possible.
