Recently, Atlanta Gear Works worked with a major steel mill to rebuild two process-critical gearboxes during their planned July outage. We coordinated with mill personnel to preplan new components and have them assembled and ready for installation during the outage. We received the gearboxes at our shop on Monday, July 4, and had them rebuilt and ready for return by Sunday, July 10 – all within their planned timeframe.
This was but one example of how we cooperate with our customers to do whatever it takes to meet their needs.
