On May 13, VP-Sales Craig Massa and Account Manager Alan Armstrong represented Atlanta Gear Works at the invitation-only Michelin 2026 North America TechnoDays — The Michelin Interactive Tradeshow — held at the Michelin Conference Center at Michelin’s North America headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.

Billed by Michelin as “the most innovation-obsessed supplier event we’ve ever hosted,” exhibitors included some of the biggest names in industry.

“We felt honored that Atlanta Gear Works was the only gearbox repair company invited to exhibit,” said Massa. “Tire-and-rubber is an important market for us because they use a lot of heavy gearboxes.”

Areas officially covered by the show were automation, mechanical, purchasing, reliability and safety.

“Attendees included a good mix of industry personnel — corporate purchasing, engineering, reliability and plant management,” said Massa.

He and Armstrong interacted with them by showing AGW’s new company shop tour video, updated corporate brochure and a bound reprint of PTE magazine’s recent article on the company Flender rebuild case study.

“All in all, it was a day well spent,” said Armstrong.
