Custom Gearboxes

Rebuilt or Custom-designed and Manufactured to Meet Your Unique Specifications

When you need to replace an existing gearbox that’s obsolete or out of production, we can reverse-engineer, design and manufacture a brand-new matching drop-in unit. As a more cost-effective alternative, we can also canvas the surplus market for a housing we can use in the rebuild. Either way, a drop-in unit will reduce your installation costs by enabling you to keep your existing baseplate and foundation, shorten your installation time and allow you to use parts from your current inventory.

Or if you have custom requirements for a new gearbox that can’t be met by an off-the-shelf unit, we can assess your requirements and design and manufacture a whole new custom unit that will do exactly what you need.

As good as new — or better!
Whichever you choose, we guarantee our builds and rebuilds will meet or exceed OEM quality.

Here’s why:

  • We assign every repair, rebuild or custom build to a dedicated, experienced engineer from start to finish.
  • We control the entire process of every job in-house, including:
    • Disassembly
    • Inspection
    • Evaluation
    • Determining the scope of the job
    • Scheduling
    • Reverse engineering
    • Original design
    • Manufacture
    • Repair
    • Rebuild
  • For maximum reliability and performance, we ensure the highest quality gearing possible by manufacturing all spur, helical, double helical and worm gears in-house using the world’s most advanced technology and engineer and design bevel gearing for production by world-class manufacturers.
  • We continually invest in our people with ongoing training and our plant with some of the world’s most advanced CNC machines in the industry.

We follow this process whether we’re working on a mixer gearbox in the tire industry, a crane gearbox in the steel industry, an extruder gearbox in the plastics industry or a hydrapulper gearbox in the paper industry — any make, any model, current or obsolete.

We’re known for doing the tough stuff.
